All Spinal Rods products come with a one (1) year manufacturer warranty.
What this means:
Manufacturer warranty covers all parts and proper assembly of these parts. These parts include, blank, guides, reel seats, and accessories. A manufacturer warranty is a failure of the manufacturing process that results in premature breakage or product failure.
Examples of coverage of this warranty are listed below:
Reel seat breaks loose of blank, premature breakage of blank under suggested usage prior to fishing, tip top falls off, gimbal falls off, etc.
Example of non-coverage.
Rod breaks while lure is snagged on bottom, lure swinging into guide and breaking the ring, dog using it as a chew toy, etc.
All manufacturer warranty claims will be repaired or replaced by Spinal Rods, using their discretion. There will be zero rod and or part replacement without the original rod being sent to Spinal Rods. All warranty claims must be sent to Spinal Rods, not the dealership where purchased. Shipping costs for all claims are to be covered by owner of the rod.
Lifetime Expeditor Warranty
What this means:
Spinal Rods understands that things happen to fishing rods. So what we have done is create a no questions asked warranty for a flat $100 fee. If you break your rod by catching a monster tuna, or your line breaks and the rod hits the t-top, or even if the dog ate with your homework, you can have a brand new rod for $100. If your rod breaks or has a failure within the one (1) year manufacturer warranty but it was caused by something other than a manufacturing process you will need to use the expeditor program.
All warranty and expeditor warranty claims need to be shipped to Spinal Rods (1648 Cortland Ave. Reading, PA 19607) with a copy of the original sales receipt, a letter explaining what happened, and your information. Rods mailed to us without your contact information, shipping address, and original sales WILL NOT be repaired or replaced. Shipping cost is the responsibility of owner of rod/sender.
